Our use of the terms mandatory protection system and mandatory access control system are meant to include historical MAC models, but our definition aims to be more general.
We intend that these terms imply models whose sets of labels are immutable, including these MAC models and others, which are administered only by trusted subjects, including trusted software and administrators.
